CQ CQ CQ!!!
I received a request from Thys ZS1TBP a local radio amateur to establish a weekly "..........." - Net on the GRHub Network to create more activity. Thys you asked for it, now you have it. This Net will be open to all radio amateurs country-wide and not only to a selective few. To get the Net established we will start this Thursday evening at 19h30 SAST. You can access the Net as follow:
- Echolink - Connect to ZS1I-L
- AllStar - Connect to node 49355
- VHF - 145.550 Mhz Simplex in the Mossel Bay area. Remember the 88.5 khz CTCSS tone
- Any other Echolink, AllStar repeater or link station that is connected to either ZS1I-L or node 49355
- Use of your cellphone by installing Echolink on your phone
- By means of a Network Radio example Enrico TM8 etc.
This coming Thursday (10 February 2022) we will discuss how the Net will be run and thereafter have a nice old ragchew.
Please feel free to join us tomorrow evening at 19h30 SAST. We are all looking forward to you company and inputs in this regard. Please also tell your amateur radio friends about the Net. I would like to see the Net grow every week with new radio amateurs joining and enjoying a good hour or two in the company of amateur radio friends.
