Yes, the World is "listening and transmitting" on the ZS-Link Network

More and more overseas stations are calling CQ CQ on the ZS-Link Network.  I have mentioned this in previous posts before.  The topic "Do one need guidelines to use the ZS-Link Network?" posted this morning contains several guidelines of how we should use the ZS-Link Network, the most important being: "We need to always operate professionally."

Yesterday evening at approximately 20h35 SAST a South Californian station K6LPB was heard calling CQ on the ZS-Link Network.  His call was returned by Stefan ZS3SG on the ZS3KBY-R Repeater and the two stations had a short contact.  It was great to listen to the two stations and how professionally they operated their stations.  After the contact Chris ZS1FC called K6LPB and once again both stations displayed the correct operation procedures.  I would like to compliment all three stations in the professional way they conducted the respective contacts.

Please if you hear a DX station on the ZS-Link Network, do take the time to answer the call.  Let's welcome our overseas fellow radio amateurs to the ZS-Link Network.

Here is more information about K6LPB:
