DIY Soundcard Interface for the Baofeng Handheld Radio. (Part 2)

DIY Soundcard Interface for the Baofeng Handheld Radio. (Part 1) is available HERE

I was recently looking at a cheap USB Sound Card Radio Interface for my Baofeng HT.   The project is now complete having installed all the modules into a project cabinet.  I tested the interface and it is  working great.  The only drawback about this interface is the fact that it has a large form factor (13 x 4 x 9.5 cm) the way I constructed it.   I used what I had on hand.  Even the cabinet could have been smaller. The modules takes up a lot of space but as I said before my eyesight does not allow for surface mount construction.   It is either large or I had to buy something like the Digirig which is far to expensive with the current exchange rate and import duties.  None the less the DIY Baofeng Sound Card Interface works as it should and it will suite my needs.

This interface is the final sound card interface project in the series that I build for each of my radios in the shack.  Each interface was specifically designed for an individual radio brand.  No and I do not plan to buy more radios in future.  I have more than enough to last me a lifetime.
