recently received the following email from Andy ZS6ADY:

old membership card and wondered if it may be of interest.
I
found the card in a box of old valves that was passed on to me for
the AWA and have kept a copy of it.

I wrote:
"Thank you very
much for the email and copy of the SARL Membership Card 1949. Highly
appreciated.
In my personal opinion I think this is a rare
and a suitable memorabilia that should be part of the SARL, Book of
History.
Anette Jacobs is currently working on this
project.
I will however place the image on the SARL Forum
and the GRHub Network for radio amateurs to view and who knows others
might also come up with more historical images etc.
