During a recent conversation with Nico ZS4N we were talking about DIY Mobile Antenna Mounts. Now I am sure that you will all agree that the mount that Nico constructed as illustrated in the images below is really a neat, innovative and very practical concept. No holes, heavy bases etc. you only need a spanner to tighten the bolts around the tow hitch ball. Bonus - you can install a variety of antennas to this mobile antenna mount for quick deployment. Nico vouch that this is the best mobile antenna mount he ever build. The images explain the complete project and there is no need to elaborate on how to build this mount.
