A big thank you to Michael ZS1MMB and Keverne ZS1ABU for the coverage/reception reports from George this morning relating to the ZS1I 145.550 Mhz Simplex Link.  Both stations were booming into the GRHub Network.  Both confirmed that the extension of the mast to a height of 12 meters did the trick.  We had a short but great QSO this morning.   The following radio amateurs were on frequency:

  • Keverne ZS1ABU
  • Michael ZS1MMB
  • Thys ZS1TBP
  • Jannie ZS1JFK
  • Koos ZS5KDK
  • Johan ZS1I

Providing coverage/reception reports not only assist us to evaluate the system but provides the opportunity for other amateur radio stations to try and access the above RF Link in parts of the Garden Route Area.

Reception and Transmission reports are most welcome and can be provided on the GRHub Network by connecting to Echolink ZS1I-L +  AllStar 49355 or via email by clicking HERE.
