It is Holiday Season .... What should I know about the Repeaters and Hub Network in the Southern Cape?

With the holiday season now in full swing in the Southern Cape there are already quite a few visiting radio amateurs in this area. We decided to add a few announcements on the Repeaters as well as the Hub Network to inform visiting radio amateurs of important information when using the ZS-Link Network.  Hopefully these announcements will be of assistance to visiting radio amateurs.

The announcements will run from Monday to Saturday.  Please note that currently these announcements will overrun any conversation that is taking place at the scheduled playtime.  Herewith the schedule of the announcements:

  • Aasvoelkop Repeater, Albertinia - 145.625 Mhz (Narrow FM)  CTCSS Tone - 88.5 Hz  
  • Stilbaai Repeater, Stilbaai - 145.750 Mhz (Narrow FM)  CTCSS Tone - 88.5 Hz
  • Mossel Bay Simplex Link, Mossel Bay - 145.550 Mhz (Narrow FM) CTCSS Tone - 88.5 Hz
